职位描述
Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Senior Director, Marketplace Growth and Partnerships to join our Strategic Planning Team.
Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.
岗位职责
Oscar is seeking a Senior Director, Marketplace Growth and Partnerships to build and lead a new partnerships capability supporting Lucie's marketplace growth. This leader will define how external partners expand consumer value, engagement, and monetization across the Lucie ecosystem. The role will start as a senior, hands-on leadership seat with room to scale into a broader partnership function as the marketplace matures.
You will report into the Vice President - Corporate Strategy
Work Location: This position is based in our New York, NY office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid
Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $218,592 - $286,902 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, company equity grants and annual performance bonuses.
• Define the partnership strategy for Lucie Marketplace, including the role external partners should play in expanding consumer value, engagement, and monetization.
• Build a prioritized partner ecosystem across lifestyle, condition management, wellness, navigation, consumer health, and adjacent categories.
• Identify where partnerships can accelerate Lucie's marketplace strategy faster or more effectively than internal build.
• Develop the commercial strategy for Lucie partnerships, including monetization models, value-sharing structures, and partner economics.
• Partner with Lucie leadership, Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal/Compliance, Data, and Operations to turn partnership strategy into scalable marketplace capabilities.
• Establish the operating model for partner evaluation, launch readiness, relationship management, performance measurement, and value capture.
• Own senior-level partner relationships and represent Lucie's marketplace vision externally.
• Build the foundation for a partnerships function that can scale over time as Lucie's marketplace matures.
任职要求
• 12+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, corporate strategy, product strategy, commercial strategy, or a related leadership function.
• 8+ years of experience developing and executing partnership strategies, partner programs, or ecosystem initiatives that supported business growth or strategic objectives.
• 8+ years of experience structuring, negotiating, or managing strategic commercial partnerships, including business models, revenue models, or enterprise partnership agreements.
• 8+ years of experience building and managing executive-level relationships with external partners, customers, vendors, or strategic stakeholders.
• 8+ years of experience leading cross-functional initiatives in partnership with Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Data, and Operations teams.
• 5+ years of experience building or scaling new business functions, operating models, governance frameworks, or strategic programs within a high-growth or evolving organization.
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams, including managing senior individual contributors and/or people leaders.
Bonus points:
• 5+ years of experience in consumer marketplaces, digital platforms, healthcare, insurance, or technology organizations.
• Experience evaluating partnership performance using financial, operational, customer engagement, or revenue metrics to inform strategic decisions.
• MBA or other advanced degree in Business, Strategy, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience working in a high-growth, startup, or rapidly scaling organization.
