As a key leader in our Go-To-Market team, this position is pivotal to our strategy to expand our footprint in the North American insurance market. We are looking for an exceptional "player-coach" sales leader to drive regional revenues, establish a robust sales cadence, and elevate the performance of our existing account executives. Based in New York City or Boston , you will lead and mentor a highly motivated team of sales professionals, channeling their energy and providing clear strategic direction as we transition from a point-solution focus to selling our broader data and platform capabilities. What You’ll Be Doing • Lead and Execute: Define and execute the sales strategy and go-to-market plan for the North American Insurance Team, working closely with regional and industry leadership.
• Drive Revenue Growth: Consistently deliver against sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the business by winning new deals and building a robust pipeline.
• Act as a Player-Coach: Manage a team of Sales Directors while also actively participating in the sales process, leading from the front to co-sell and navigate complex deals.
• Target Key Accounts: Focus on penetrating and expanding relationships within complex, Tier-1 US insurance carriers.
• Mentor and Develop: Provide structured sales coaching and mentorship to a team of enthusiastic sales professionals, channeling their energy and elevating their performance.
What You’ll Bring • Proven Leadership: Extensive experience as an enterprise software sales manager or director in North America, with a demonstrated ability to lead and grow effective sales teams.
• Industry Expertise: A strong understanding of the US insurance carrier landscape (Tier-1 and Tier-2), including operational and buying processes, key sector issues, and the ability to "educate and solutionize" with customers.
• Consultative Sales DNA: A proven track record in solution selling, with experience navigating long, complex, multi-stakeholder procurement cycles.
• Player-Coach Mentality: A hands-on leader who is willing to network at events, chase inbound leads, and directly co-sell with team members.
• Personal Attributes: • Ambitious, determined, and energetic with strong interpersonal skills.
• An independent decision-maker who is also inclusive when evaluating options.
• Resilient, perseverant, and capable of delivering results in complex and demanding environments.
• Optimistic in outlook with an ability to spot and react to market changes.
Desirable Skills • Previous experience selling Financial Crime, Fraud, or other data-heavy platform products within the insurance sector.
• Technical comprehension of advanced analytics, AI/ML concepts, or data management platforms.
• A warm network of existing relationships inside key Tier-1 US insurance accounts.
