Job Description Role
Based in the Perth CBD, this contract role will support one of our clients in the Energy and Resources sector by delivering day-to-day records management services across electronic and physical records. You will work closely with customer groups, IT consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure records are well organised, secure, and compliant with company processes and industry standards.
Responsibilities
• Support management of electronic resources and databases in coordination with customer groups • Assist with analysing, categorising, and organising data for effective use • Liaise with customers, providing accurate and timely solutions to records requests • Collaborate with IT consultants to translate customer needs into technical requirements • Maintain work instructions and support process improvement initiatives • Perform archival activities including: • Receiving hardcopy documents and managing offsite storage • Profiling, retrieval, return, and destruction of archived cartons • Supporting Safe Custody processes (e.g. wet-signed contracts, variations, guarantees) • Manage customer requests via shared mailboxes, ensuring service levels are met • Ensure compliance with agreed KPIs, SLAs, and records management standard
Requirements
• Previous experience in records management, archives, or information management roles • Strong knowledge of both electronic and hardcopy records management practices • Familiarity with offsite storage, Safe Custody, and retention/destruction processes • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple requests • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise across customer groups, IT teams, and stakeholders • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to improving processes Additional Information Values At IQ, our values are at the heart of how we work: • We put people first • We always act with honesty and integrity • We do the right thing • We think outside the box If you share these values, have a positive attitude, and the skills below, we’d love to hear from you.
