SGS, Gidlow, is seeking a motivated Mechanical Apprentice to join our team and gain hands-on experience. This is an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining a nationally recognised trade qualification while working alongside experienced tradespeople on geothermal and industrial equipment. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. What You’ll Be Doing • Assist with the maintenance, repair and installation of geothermal pipelines, valves and steamfield equipment. • Learn practical fitting and mechanical skills while working alongside experienced tradespeople. • Support planned maintenance and outage activities to help keep operations running smoothly. • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively. • Learn to read technical drawings, specifications and work instructions. • Carry out inspections and quality checks under supervision. • Maintain accurate records of completed work and training activities. • Follow all health, safety and environmental requirements. • Actively participate in apprenticeship training and work towards achieving your trade qualification. • Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement initiatives
任职要求
