About PX at Adyen

Adyen PX (Product Experience) organization consists of a group of Full-Stack builders who own the end-to-end product discovery and execution from Research, Design, to Content perspective. We are at the forefront of building the future of payments, a rapidly changing industry. We approach projects as an opportunity to exceed our customers’ expectations - designing the right experiences, at the right time, the right way. We ensure that Adyen stays a leader and disruptor in the global payments industry by bringing the customers (whether shopper or business) into the center of our product and business decision making.

• Define and champion the Product Experience (PX) vision and strategy, ensuring it directly drives broader business goals and success metrics.

• Build and grow a high-performing team of 8 full-stack Product Experience (PX) professionals, who will own the end-to-end solution discovery and execution.

• Partner with Group Product Managers, Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Senior Leadership to drive strategic initiatives.

• Ensure the quality of PX work stays high and consistently raises the bar for our customers.

• Champion PX across the organization, ensuring customer needs are prioritized in product strategy.

• Empower your team members to succeed, grow, and become highly effective for the business.

• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at Adyen, including product, development, commercial, and operations teams.

This is you

• A seasoned manager. You have 5+ years of prior people leadership experience in a Product design or UX field.

• A strategic leader with a builder's mindset. You use your deep UX craft and business acumen to create a clear vision, empower your team to experiment, and turn that vision into lasting impact. You're comfortable working across all levels and functions, from engineers to executives.

• A champion for the customer. You drive product experience strategy by balancing user needs with company goals, ensuring our solutions have a tangible, positive impact for both.

• An adaptive and growth-minded individual. You approach your work with an open mind, curiosity, and optimism, embracing change and adapting quickly.

• Drives a culture of urgency and action, ensuring the team moves fast to test, learn, and improve.

• Comfortable working across functions and levels , from engineers to executives

• A natural coach and mentor. People trust your expertise and enjoy working with you. You build and manage a team of full-stack PX professionals, providing clear, constructive feedback that fosters professional growth and elevates their work.

• The base salary for this role in Chicago ranges from $180,000 to $250,000, plus RSUs.
