• Research and sourcing - You’ll research markets and sectors that you believe we should be paying attention to, and then identify the key companies in them that Robinhood Ventures needs to meet.

• Investment evaluation - You’ll be a key part of the deal team for investments we evaluate. You’ll own core diligence workstreams like the financial model, competitive analysis, and help shape investment theses.

• Platform building - You’ll work with teams across Product, Operations, Marketing, Legal, and more to help build experiences in the Robinhood app to further differentiate Robinhood Ventures for both retail investors and portfolio companies.

What you bring

• Currently enrolled in a full-time MBA program

• Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or finance at a high-growth company, with fluency in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market research; late-stage investing or venture capital experience is a plus

• Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated interest in emerging technologies and the private companies driving them — you proactively form opinions on key trends and companies

• An existing network in the startup ecosystem, or the drive to build one, that can help Robinhood Ventures identify and connect with promising companies

• Proven ability to work independently in lean, high-output environments, with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected hourly range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
