Job description
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Hot. Non-smoking. Work setting: Rural area. Remote location. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields and other work areas. Deleaf agricultural crops to accelerate ripening . Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Greenhouse cleaning. Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions. Hand harvesting vegetables. Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes. Tie and secure plants. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Report signs of insect or disease damage. Clean work area. Type of product: Hydroponic horticultural products. Vegetables. Type of crops: Tomatoes. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
