Job description
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Rural area. Relocation costs covered by employer. Tasks: Cut agricultural crops. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.. Hand harvesting vegetables. Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes. Pack fruits and vegetables. Pick row and orchard crops. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Sort fruits and vegetables. Weeding. Clean work area. Harvest crops. Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market. Type of crops: Orchard fruit. Vegetables. Equipment and machinery experience: Farm truck. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Physically demanding.
