Position: Diesel Motor Mechanic Location: Wandering, Western Australia
Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity exists for a Diesel Motor Mechanic to join a progressive farming operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of agricultural machinery while also assisting with machinery operation during peak seasons.
Diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines and agricultural machinery Maintain tractors, harvesters, loaders, and other farm equipment Conduct preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing Identify mechanical faults and implement effective repairs Assist with the operation of farm machinery during cropping and harvest seasons Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and maintenance records
Requirements
Trade qualification in Diesel Mechanics (or equivalent) Ability to diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a farm team Valid driver’s licence
