Job description
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Confined spaces. Dangerous. Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Odours. Wet/damp. Cold/refrigerated. Dairy. Livestock. All weather conditions. Dirty. Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses. Handling animals. Monitor the calving process. Monitoring animal health. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Milk cows. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Perform general farm duties. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops. Personal suitability: Team player.
