Job Description SGS Australia is looking for Casual Coal Technician in Mt Thorley, NSW. Flexibility is critical as you may be required to complete day, afternoon and/or night shifts on weekdays or weekends. Please note, this role involves significant regular manual handling of samples up to 15+ kg throughout your shift. Working as part of a fast-paced, team, you will be responsible for: • Accurately conducting physical coal testing and analysis of routine samples, including crushing, weighing, drying, milling and sieving. • Collection of samples from client mine site washeries. • Recording, sorting and storing coal samples as required. • On-the-job training to meet compliance with analytical methods, procedures and SGS Quality Systems & onsite HSE Standards.

• Delivery of samples to both internal and external customers.
任职要求
Previous coal sampling and testing experience would be an advantage. The successful candidate will also have: • Unrestricted driver's license and reliable transport are mandatory. • Strong communication skills. • The ability to work in a team environment and the ability to meet tight deadlines. • A flexible schedule to cover various shifts and rosters. • The ability to keep pace with significant manual handling and labor throughout the shift. • A can do attitude to strive for better and be part of a dynamic team. • Forklift license and high-risk work ticket are desirable.
