Fastned is on a mission to accelerate the transition to electric mobility. Since 2012, we have been building and operating a rapidly growing network of iconic fast-charging stations across Europe, powered entirely by solar and wind energy. We operate over 400 stations across nine countries, with an ambitious goal of reaching 1,000 stations by 2030. We are not building infrastructure for its own sake. Every station we open is a tangible step in the transition away from fossil fuels, and a bet that the commercial case for clean energy is as strong as the moral one. Fastned has spent nearly 15 years building something that did not exist before: a premium, pan-European fast-charging network, built on green energy, with a brand that stands for "accelerating the transition to e-mobility." The network is scaling. What this moment demands is commercial leadership to turn that network into a durable, high-performing business. We are looking for a Chief Commercial Officer to join our Management Board and own that challenge.

The CCO is responsible for Fastned's commercial performance across Europe. That means owning the full commercial logic of the business: where we position the network, what we charge for it, how we further build our brand, what propositions we take to fleet operators and business customers, and what policy environment we need to grow. These are not separate functions to be managed in parallel. They are interconnected commercial decisions , and the CCO is the executive who holds that logic together. The commercial organisation comprises four domains, each led by a Director: Network Development, Growth, Marketing & Communications, and Public Affairs. These are strong, experienced leaders running capable teams, collectively over 100 people. The CCO sets the strategic direction that makes each domain more effective, and creates the cross-functional alignment that turns individual domain performance into commercial momentum. The overriding commercial objective is clear: €1 million revenue per station by 2030, achieved by becoming the leading charging brand across all markets - the #1 choice for both B2B and B2C customers - through the right locations, fleet deals, and strong brand presence.

What We Are Looking For • You are an executive with a track record of building and scaling commercial organisations across multiple European markets in a listed scale-up or high-growth environment .

• You have led at the top level, built propositions that win, closed deals that matter, and created the structures and cultures that sustain commercial performance over time.

• You are a genuine people leader who inspires, challenges, and develops the people around you.

• We are open to candidates from a wide range of industries . The EV and energy sectors are evolving fast, and we believe the sharpest commercial thinking can come from outside as much as from within. What matters is that commercial leadership is your core competency , that you have operated at scale, and that you bring the kind of outside perspective that raises ambition.

• You connect strategy to execution - not by controlling the details, but by creating the clarity and accountability that allows a strong organisation to move decisively. You build followership across functions, across markets, and externally with customers, partners, institutional investors, and public affairs stakeholders.

• You are as comfortable in the boardroom as you are in the market.

• You have a genuine affinity with Fastned's mission and a belief in the energy transition.

• A seat on Fastned's Management Board with real mandate and strategic ownership.

• Based in one of our offices in Amsterdam (HQ), Brussels, Gent, or Köln, with regular travel across our European markets.

• For the base salary we follow our Management Board Remuneration Policy . Within the defined salary scope of this policy, we offer a base salary of €160K–€213K for this position.
