Job Description What you will be doing: In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality welding work in accordance with ASME codes and standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: • Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, fabrication plans, and welding specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. • Fabricating, assembling, fitting, and welding components in accordance with project requirements and relevant standards. • Conducting pre-work inspections of materials, equipment, and work areas to verify readiness and safety. • Performing quality control checks and measurements using precision tools to ensure completed work meets specified tolerances and quality requirements. • Maintaining detailed records of welding procedures, inspections, and test results to support traceability and compliance. • Identifying and reporting defects or non-conformities and assisting with corrective actions. • Operating and maintaining welding and fabrication equipment, ensuring it remains in safe working condition. • Working collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues to meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards. • Adhering to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements. • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives through feedback and recommendations on fabrication and welding processes.
任职要求
What You'll Need • Valid ASME IX certification to 6G or an equivalent welding qualification. • Proven experience as a Welder in industrial, manufacturing, energy, or heavy engineering environments. • Strong knowledge of ASME codes and standards, particularly the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. • Experience with a variety of welding processes and fabrication techniques. • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication plans, and welding specifications. • Experience with mechanical fitting, assembly, and installation activities. • Sound understanding of metallurgy and material behaviour. • Experience using precision measuring equipment and quality control procedures. • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving. • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to maintain accurate documentation. • A genuine commitment to health, safety, and quality. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. • A proactive attitude and willingness to support a range of workshop and site-based activities.
